Very easy to operate: Turn it on using the on/off switch, and then pass flash thru the machine as seen in video below. Then turn unit off. Wow FAST & Simple!! Note: ACTUAL Stencil made with this machine below in video! TESTED using Full sheet of flash! Note: 8th photo shows machine after cleaning and before it was reassembled. This machine has been cleaned and tested see photos (and video below), lamp is nice and bright. This Thermo-Fax has a light brown color cover or case overall the machine looks good and works as it should. Built like a tank this machine has a metal cover and metal chassis newer machines are made of plastic, brown front part is plastic and in great shape! Some discoloration/fading and a few scratches and marks on the cover, very minimal. The clear carrier belt is NEW a $60 value. Print Roller is like New can be seen in 3rd photo. ACTUAL Stencil made in video below. Dial was pointing at 4.5 machine had been tested a couple times, and note thermal paper and flash only going thru machine, you will need to adjust the dial for best stencil lines. You will have cover closed its only open to show machine working. Works like it should (if machine is hot) continues to run after light goes out to cool down the machine. Tips: Flash must be laser printed or photo copied, NOT Ink jet or bubble jet. Always run machine at fastest setting possible(at least until you are familiar with your machine) to avoid burning clear carrier belt. Don't adjust speed when making stencil. It is important to feed the stencil paper straight into the machine to avoid jamming the machine with the paper. When you insert the stencil paper (the machine comes on) make sure the light is on before continuing to insert stencil paper. If the machine ever continues to run...and the light is on...to avoid melting the clear carrier belt--Quickly--unplug the machine open the cover and grasp back roller and turn the belt manually (it turns easiest turning the belt away from you). Practice turning the roller now so you know how. If you ever insert the thermal paper and the machine comes on, including the light but it does not take the paper...to avoid melting the clear carrier belt--Quickly--unplug the machine open the cover and grasp back roller and turn the belt manually (it turns easiest turning the belt away from you).
