But I think it's a bit hard for me. Do you think it will soften up a bit over time? Or should I go ahead and follow your instructions for making it a bit softer? I'd like to get some more reeds as soon as I can make this one more playable. When it's playable maybe I can tell you a bit more of what I'm looking for in a reed. Dear customer,Thanks for your message. I'm glad to hear that the reed responds well. The feeling that its too stiff may have a bit to do with not playing often enough. The reed will not get much softer over time and when it does it usually means that it's getting tired and may play well for 30 minutes and than collapses somewhat. I will be sending you another reed as soft as I dare to make it. When you receive it, try it out and if you like it keep it.
