NEW Hand Made Knit Scarf SILK and EYELASH designer
This scarf is 52 inches in length and it is 4 inches wide. The scarf is made of a polyester eyelash yarn and a 100% silk yarn made from recycled silk saris in Nepal. The older village women (some 70-80 years old!) collect the sari remnants and end pieces from the sari factory and spin them into yarn by hand. The money they earn from this supports not only their immediate family, but also their extended families. The photo does not fully show the beauty of this yarn. The eyelash yarn is red, green, white, and purple, and the lashes are 2" long. There are threads that stand out like eyelashes in the sari yarn for a 3D effect. The colors are extremely vibrant, and range through the entire color spectrum. The scarf is knit in a lacy garter stitch, so it would be great for year round wear. SHIPPING: I combine shipping, so please check out my other items! You will be charged the highest shipping cost on the first item, and only $0.75 for each additional item. Shipping is by USPS First Class or Priority Mail and includes Delivery Confirmation. Postal insurance for loss or damage is optional but recommended. I have chosen 3 days handling time because there are limited choices on the listing form, and I need to allow for weekends, personal emergencies, and unexpected delays.
