I would leave the salon loving the way my hair looked and felt but was soon disappointed when I tried to achieve the same look and feel at home. I tried using the same products but still could not get it. Finally I asked my stylist what kind of hair dryer she used. It was the CHI Pro and so I got one. Now with using the CHI I can obtain the same look and feel I had when I left the spa. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy but I use this dryer along with a Mariyn round brush and my hair is soft, shiny and frizz free. I definitely recommend this dryer. After reading the mixed reviews on this site I wasn't expecting much. However, my two cents is that it is a good dryer. I only just got it so it is too soon to foretell if it will last long term, but it did a fine job drying and smoothing my wavy thin hair. And I had NO product in it whatsoever. It does dry the hair quicker than my previous dryer. It isn't heavy at all and I really do like it!!!! I am so far happy with the dryer, my only comlaint is that the nozzles don't go on and off with ease but it is fine because I don't use them anyway....Don't be afraid to buy this dryer.....does a fine job!!!!!
