My doctor prescribed this shoe to take pressure off my heel. I have a pressure sore there that will not heal up. As you will note, the shoe has no heel and one must walk with all the weight on the ball of your foot. Unfortunately, the thickness of the shoe affected my arthritic knee so I wore the thing home from the place where I bought it and have never had it on again! So if you need something to take pressure off your heel, this is it. I had to pay $50 for this thing that I wore for about three hours. I'd like to get a little something for it.Every time I look at it, I think what a waste of money. Ever had a situation like that?
