~~EXPECTATIONS~~ We each have expectations and want a smooth transaction from beginning to end. To ensure both our expectations are met, you should promptly, upon auction end, use eBay's checkout which will immediately provide me with your method of payment and whether you wish your package to be insured. And, of course, you should ensure that your payment is received by me within FIVE (5) days of auction close. If paying via e-check or mailing your payment, that means you will need to immediately do so. I strive to meet your expectations of top quality items at an affordable price and quickly shipped!
~~COMMUNICATION~~ Communication is key to a successful transaction. If your mailbox is full, you will obviously not receive my emails. Please note that you will always receive (1) an invoice (unless you pay before one can be prepared); (2) a "thank you" email upon receipt of payment that will also include shipping information; and, (3) an automated email from usps.com with the tracking number for the package (US shipments only). If you do not receive any one of these emails, please contact me as soon as possible. You will always know if my system is down for maintenance or I am otherwise not available (it will be noted at the top of my store page).
~~PROBLEMS/RETURNS~~ I take pride in my auctions and it is rare that there is a problem. However, please be assured that if and when a problem does occur, I will always work with you to resolve it. My items are fully and accurately described...please read the listing in its entirety and ask all questions BEFORE placing a bid. Sales are final...returns are no longer accepted unless a mistake was made in describing the item.
~~FEEDBACK~~ I value eBay's feedback system and strive to ensure that you will be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please do not leave feedback until you have attempted to resolve the matter with me. This is not only common courtesy, but is eBay's policy. I am very easy to work with and will always correct any mistake I may make. I cannot correct a mistake if I don't know about it. PLEASE NOTE: I use an automated feedback system that will automatically post feedback to your account AFTER you have left feedback for me. Usually, feedback is left within 72 hours of receiving feedback.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the time to enter the appropriate feedback. eBay's new star rating system means a great deal more than one might realize. Did you know that Power Sellers who maintain high customer satisfaction as reflected in the new "star rating" system are provided discounted eBay fees? This is important and is being mentioned because a seller's fees paid to eBay directly impact the seller's ability to offer low prices to their customers. When a Power Seller looses the discounted fees, well, quite frankly, it will be the Buyer who pays in the end with higher prices. I do not expect everyone to be pleased with shipping and handling costs as it is not to be expected that everyone will understand the true costs of shipping. Shipping costs are not solely the costs of postage. Thus, the reason it's referred to as shipping AND handling. If you are not happy with the stated shipping and handling charges specified in my listings (or given to you when you email and ask for them), then please DO NOT BID. It serves no purpose for you to be unhappy and then hurt all buyers by reducing the star levels of any seller. For what it is worth, when I do mistakenly quote you a shipping and handling price that is higher than that actually spent, you will ALWAYS receive a refund. This has been my practice for the entire six-plus years I have been eBaying. I do business the right and fair way as my feedback record reflects. I fully expect my customers to do the same. So, please folks, take your time when entering feedback. The feedback forum is a very important part of eBaying!
~~BEYOND OUR CONTROL~~ We live in an internet world and many things can occur that are beyond our control. Please keep in mind that system failures, turbulent weather, site technical problems and family emergencies can prevent us from immediately communicating with one another. I've indicated above what you can expect in the way of communication from me. If it doesn't occur, I assure you it will be something that is beyond my control. I also give you, my wonderful customer, the same benefit of the doubt. To my knowledge there is no way to do an automated reply to you through eBay's message system. So, if you use eBay's message system and do not receive a quick reply, please email me at the yahoo address OR click on my STORE link and look at the top of my store page for information. If we work together, there is no reason your buying experience cannot be beyond exceptional!!
~~THE PROCESS~~ Once an auction closes, you will be sent an invoice. I require that you contact me within 24 hours of auction close. This is as simple as using eBay's checkout so that I will know your method of payment and if you want the optional insurance (insurance is available ONLY on shipments within the U.S.). If you have not contacted me within seven days of auction close, a non-paying bidder alert will be filed. At that point, I have the option of re-listing the item, making it no longer available to you. The non-paying process will continue if you still have not contacted me, which includes you being placed on my blocked-bidder list and receiving a "strike" from eBay. There is absolutely no reason for any of that to take place. It's simple folks...bid, win, checkout and pay within five (5) days!!
~~THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS~~ While I have always taken pride in my top quality items being offered at unbeatable prices with customer service that is second to none, eBay's continual practice of raising fees, as well as the rising costs of postage, is making it more difficult to find a real bargain on eBay. Please help keep costs low by expeditiously finalizing your transaction and by paying particularly close attention to the feedback forum. It's extremely important that sellers who have earned Power Seller status and high customer satisfaction ratings maintain their status and ratings in order to benefit from the lower fees offered them by eBay, which in turn, means lower prices to you.

Please do not ask me to place your item in a flimsy padded envelope and please do not ask me to mark the Customs form as a gift.
FREE SHIPPING: WHEN Free Shipping is offered, it applies ONLY to shipments within the United States and DOES NOT include insurance. If you are taking advantage of free shipping and wish the package sent insured, you MUST email me PRIOR to paying so that I can send you an amended invoice that will include the cost of insurance.
COMBINED SHIPPING: I am always happy to combine items WHEN POSSIBLE to save you on shipping costs. Please note that in some instances, especially on auctions for "lots", the stated shipping cost is based on using Priority Mail Flat Rate Service. In those instances, it may be difficult to combine items for reduced shipping. For combined shipping benefits, additional auctions must end within THREE days of the first auction won (OR you can "pay as you go" and I will adjust the shipping charges on the last auction won). Please let me know BEFORE the first auction ends that you may have other items.
FLAT RATE SHIPPING: I use flat rate shipping and clearly state the shipping charges within the listing (except for international shipments which require the Buyer to contact me PRIOR to bidding for rates). Please, please, please ~~ if you are not happy with the stated shipping and handling charges or those quoted to you for international shipping, please DO NOT bid.
Insurance is always available for shipments within the United States for the additional costs stated and is recommended.
Insurance for international packages is ONLY available if the item is shipped via Priority Mail International, an option that is ALWAYS available to my International customers (simply send me an email and ask what the shipping rate is for Priority Mail International).
I securely package all items, but cannot and will not be responsible for damages occurring during shipment or for lost packages. Please keep this in mind when deciding if you wish to have the package sent insured.
