 This auction is for a lot of 25 Eisenhower IKE Dollars in good almost uncirculated shape and various years.  Although an IKE Dollar is often referred to as a "Silver Dollar", there is no silver content in the coin.  The term silver refers to the color of the coin... not the material used to manufacture the coin.  The material used is a copper nickel mix known as cupro-nickel.  The coins make great gifts!  Rumor has it that the tooth fairy will leave Silver Dollars under the pillows of "toothless" children :-)  Also, watch the suprised look of your newspaper carrier, baby sitter, waiter/waitress, or valet attendant when the gratuity includes an IKE Dollar(s)!   See scan for an image of the quality of similar coins.  The random coins in this lot include a variety from the following years: 1971 1972 1974 1976 1977 1978  The scan below is intended to show comparable quality of the coins that the winning bidder will receive.  The coins are very clean and the although the conditions vary, they appear to show little wear.    Shipping for the entire lot of 25 coins is $4.85 for priority shipping.  Insurance is an optional $1.75.  Combined shipping for additional lots of IKE Dollars is $1.50 per additional lot.
