This auction is for a lot of 25 Eisenhower IKE Dollars in good almost uncirculated shape. Per recent customer request, the only year in this auction is 1976. Although an IKE Dollar is often referred to as a "Silver Dollar", there is no silver content in the coin. The term silver refers to the color of the coin... not the material used to manufacture the coin. The material used is a copper nickel mix known as cupro-nickel. The coins make great gifts! Rumor has it that the tooth fairy will leave Silver Dollars under the pillows of "toothless" children :-) Also, watch the suprised look of your newspaper carrier, baby sitter, waiter/waitress, or valet attendant when the gratuity includes an IKE Dollar(s)! The coins are very clean and the although the conditions vary, they appear to show little wear. Since the photo below is for demonstration only, various years do appear below. However, the lot for this particular auction will only have coins from 1976. Shipping for the entire lot of 25 coins is $4.85 for priority shipping. Insurance is an optional $1.75.
