The quilted outer pouch measures 3 1/4" by 3" and has a Velcro flap closure. The magnifier is made by Carson tm Optics--this type is called a MagniFliptm. It is a compact 3X power "flip-open" with a built in hard plastic cover. This crystal clear acrylic lens magnifier measures approx. 2 1/4" square by 1/2" deep. The 100% pre-quilted cotton used for the pouch is imported directly from Japan and stored in a smoke free environment. The backside (interior) of the pre-quilted fabric, in most cases, is made of muslin which is off-white in color--but some of the quilted fabrics will come backed in a dark solid color or a subtle print. Pouch can be laundered but spot-cleaning recommended to retain color. Japanese dragonfly design on rich red background. Metallic gold outlining enhances this design.
