The two films - both produced during the WWII era, promote the importance of dental health and keeping your teeth clean and healthy. The commericals present a variety of tooth products - including Crest, DentuCreme, MacLeans toothpaste and Micrin Mouthwash. Here are the contents of this collection: About Faces (1941) This film, produced in the early days of World War II, tells the story of Danny Smith and what he does to take care of his teeth and prevent tooth disease and other dental diseases. The film contrasts the good habits of Danny with the results that occur when one does not adequately take care of his teeth. The film was created to promote good dental health and the importance of dentistry - and expained the importance of good dental health to successful military service. It stresses good nutrition (important at the end of the Depression), proper exercise of the teeth and gums, the correct way to use a tooth brush and the importance of periodic visits to a dentist.
