This is a Christmas hard candy box from the 1940's. Reads, "Made in USA & A Merry Christmas". The view below shows 1 side, 2 handles, bottom   and 1 end of a flattened box. The other side and end are the same. The box folded to hold candy measures 5" wide X 4 3/4" high plus handles X 2 1/2" deep. Condition is as new, never used. Buyer pays $3.50 S/H. ----- On a personal note, I remember the Nuns giving this type Christmas box full of candy to us kids in the 1940's war years, they contained very colorful hard candy, some pieces (very few) even had a little chocolate in the center, GOOD STUFF.
