Brown & Sharpe Antique Barbers Beard Clipper W/Box Hair
This beard trimmer made by Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. out of Providence, Rhode Island was called an Improved Hair Clipper For Barber's Use. It has the companys name on the handle along with patent dates in 1879, in 1884, and 1885. I believe this one was made in 1919 as the paper included with it is dated as such for the price list that was revised in 1917. This clipper is in excellent condition. It includes the paper for parts that came with it, a shield to cover end when not being used, and the original box. I have also included a small paper bag that is tied shut and dated Jan. 5, 1921 with extra clipper plates that someone added into the box. | ||||||||||||
