How does our makeup compare to Bare Escentuals? Both brands will give you great coverage and a natural-looking finish. However, Aura Minerals is committed to providing a truely "green" makeup. This relates not only to our use of natural and organic materials, but to the matter in which we do business. We create the least amount of trash possible by reducing excess use, reusing packing boxes and fillers, and recycling what little we absolutely cannot find a use for. Whenever possible, we purchase previously recycled materials for our business supplies. We use only ingredients that are either beneficial or benign that make our skin look softer and prettier, our eyes brighter, and our lips more smooth. We do not use ingredients whose sole purpose is to improve the look or texture of the product in the jar; this does not increase the effectiveness of the product at all, and only adds to list of potentially irritating or dangerous ingredients. One of these potentially damaging ingredients is bismuth oxychloride, which can cause itching, redness, and skin irritation. This is an ingredient in most Bare Escentuals products, but is avoided completely by Aura Minerals. All Aura Minerals ingredients are 100% pure mineral ingredients. Please understand that you are purchasing Aura Minerals, unless stated otherwise.
