I have been studying the art for some time now, and have aquired a wonderful technique to create truly lifelike skintones, from peaches and cream, to the blotchy newborn. I absolutely love the art of reborning. I have sold reborns all over the world. I cannot tell you how much I adore this art. I take pride in my work, and am very meticulous in every single detail. Each step in reborning this sweet little one took many hours. I have been given the PRA*ISE award for my high level of excellence and customer satisfaction, as well as many Baby of the Month awards. Skintone: I took extra care to make sure that her features were as realistic as possible. First,I brought her home and gave her a gentle warm bath. Her skintone was achieved with Genisis Heat set paints. I applied many layers to give her the most perfect newborn baby skin look. She has so many tiny imperfections and blotches to the skin that make her incredible to see up close. . Her veining was achieved by placing them in correct location using external painting, but they appear to be "under the skin." This gave the most realistic results, as some veins will appear more prominent than others. She also has just born mottling on her skin, and a real skin texture. Hands and feet: The soles of her feet and the palms of her little hands have that baby perfect pink hue. Each crease on her hands and feet have been carefully shaded and detailed.Her fingernails and toenails have been manicured and tips with natural coloring and given a just trimmed look. She has perfect moons in each tiny nail bed. They have been sealed, so they will never chip. Lips: Baby's lips have been made using layers of heat set paints. They have then been sealed with a gloss to give her that moist realistic look. Eyes: Shhh! Baby Eve is sleeping! Her eye color remains a mystery.Her lashes have been micro-rooted and have been trimmed perfectly.Her eyebrows have been hand painted in small whispy barely there brushes to look like real hair. Body: She has a fully jointed doe suede body especially for her, so she would be extra soft to cuddle. She has been stuffed with micro poly pellets, tiny glass beads and poly filled to weight her properly and make her feel soft like a new baby. Be careful to hold her head when you hold her. Just like a newborn, she will need support. She has been carefully weighted to feel like you are holding a real baby. She has not been overstuffed, so she is very soft to hold. Little Evelynn is so cuddly, you simply will not be able to put her down! Hair: Evelynn's's hair is so realistic, you would swear the hairs were growing from her head! Her hair is micro-rooted her hair one to two hairs at a time. It is truly amazing! The crown has the perfect whirl and that the hair lays in cute baby-like directions. Every baby is so unique! The hair has then been sealed twice on the inside, so you may dampen, gently comb and style it as you wish. It is very soft and silky. Looks great brushed straight, or you can give it some curls. This is some of the nicest mohair I have used. Layette: Evelynn has an incredible wardrobe!
