Centering on several particular states and their backgrounds, some unit examples are: Fishing in Maine, Farming in Kansas, Forests in Oregon, Cattle in Texas, and Space Travel in Florida. Students will explore worktexts filled with captivating illustrations and easy-to-understand lessons about the different states. As students master one concept at a time, they will also develop vocabulary, geography, and map reading skills. Tests and review exercises like true or false and matching questions are integrated throughout the worktexts to solidify comprehension.
