Active Ingredient: Kojic Acid, Papaya enzymes DIRECTIONS: Use like regular facial and bath soaps - up to once daily. To maximize results, you may leave it on for 1-3 minutes. For best results, use whitening cream and body lotion. Additional facial and body moisturizers are recommended. I myself have oily skin, but I always make sure I still moisturize with an oil-free humectant moisturizer after each application of the cream & lotion. Remember, this was originally intended for Philippine weather conditions, which is hot & humid all year round, so it's best to complement this with your favorite moisturizer - or do what lazy people like me do, use a moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher sun protection and save yourself a step in your beauty routine. Don't forget to use sunscreen with UVA protection (the UV ray that makes our skin tan and wrinkle, versus UVB that makes our skin burn) during daytime, or else you're just wasting your time & money in using this cream. UVA coverage is extremely important because 50% of the exposure to UVA occurs in the shade, i.e. in the absence of direct sunlight. Sunblock is not optional - it is a must. My favorite is Neutrogena Ultra-sheer dry touch sunblock SPF 55 or Cooling Mist SPF 45 with Parsol 1789, also known as avobenzone (get the 3% instead of 2%)- neither of the 2 feels sticky or oily and it has Parsol 1789 , sheer UVA protection (as opposed to physical UVA protection like Zinc Oxide or titanium dioxide which gives an unattractive opaque pasty look on the skin).
