This does not include the weight of the jar.If you are reading this then you may be familiar with the type of scrubs that most other sell, that are only a mixture of an oil as well as some type of an abrasive ingredient such as sugar or salt. (This one is a lot different.) They also most often need to be stirred before being used, and they are also known as an oily scrub because they leave such an oily film on the skin after they are used. While many like that there are many who don't care for that heavy greasy feeling left on after it's rinsed off. That is why my non-oily scrub is a perfect alternative to gently exfoliate the skin and help remove that dry dead skin only to leave behind soft smooth skin. This is a thick rich and creamy version that I have formulated so it won't need to be stirred before using, and it can be used straight from the jar. I took the time to learn about the different ingredients that go into this type of scrub and took it a step further to make sure i got the right amounts of each ingredient to find the perfect balance of ingredients. And I know you will be happy with this product. When you use this scrub you will find that it leaves yours skin feeling likes it's been moisturized with lotion after it's been rinsed off. It will not leave your skin feeling greasy or heavy after it's rinsed off. As you can see by the photo this is a very thick, rich and creamy scrub.   The above photo is just a sample of what you will receive. Yours will be made fresh when it's ordered with the scent of choice.  Because I want my customers to know what they are buying, here is a list of the ingredients in alphabetical order. The label however will have the ingredient list written correctly. * Beeswax * Emulsifying Wax * Fragrance * LiquaPar Oil (preservative) * * Mango Butter * Rice Bran Oil * Safflower Oil * Stearic Acid * Sugar * * Unrefined Shea Butter * Vitamin E (tocopherols) *Because a scrub is used where water can and will be introduced into the container a preservative is required. However the correct preservative is needed to protect you from mold and bacteria from growing. Never buy a scrub that does not contain a proper chemical preservative. There are many preservatives on the market but they can't be used with all products so you need to make sure your seller knows their business. Also there are so many that are mis-informed and are using an antioxidant and call it a preservative but that will only keep the oils from going rancid and will do nothing to prevent mold and bacteria from growing. So protect yourself and make sure the proper preservative is used. The preservative in this product is LiquaPar Oil and is very safe to use and only a small amount is required. However I also do use Vitamin E (tocopherols) to help prevent the oils from going rancid so it's shelf life is even longer. Caution needs to be used with all scrubs because they do contain a high amount of oil, and it may cause the bottom of the tub/shower to become slippery.
