The material will begin to harden if mixed for more than 1 minute.. 2. Roll out the material the width of the tray. Press the material and shape into the tray.   3. Take the loaded tray and place over the upper teeth. Teeth should be centered in the impression material. Press firmly and with your fingers so you can feel the material flow over your teeth and gums. Do Not Bite Down - just hold in place with your fingers. The impression material will extrude through the holes on the tray. Keep the impression in place for one minute, remove and rinse in cold water.
